It's the dog days of summer, and we'd like to celebrate in style with a doggie dip in the pool! The humans have had their turn; now is the time for our fur babies to enjoy the water, games and summer activities at the Menasha Pool - complete with a best swim suit contest. There is no fee for this event, but donations are welcome. 100% of funds raised will be given to the Menasha Police Department's K-9 Unit. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and current on vaccinations. Proof of vaccination is required.

Event Rules:
Paws at the Pool Rules & Waiver
• Only well-mannered dogs and their (well-mannered) handlers are allowed to participate.

• Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior will be asked to leave.

• Proof of current vaccinations (Rabies) from your vet is required to participate in this event.

• Each dog must be accompanied by a responsible adult handler age 18+.

• Dogs must not be in heat.

• Limit one dog at a time per handler.

• No human wading or swimming!

• For their safety, children under age 10 must be accompanied by another guardian who is not a dog handler.

• Dogs must be spayed/neutered.

• Dogs must be over six months of age.

• Clean up after your dogs! (And take them out of pool area to poop.) Bags are provided.

• Dogs must wear flat buckle/snap collars when they are off-leash (No prong, choke or training collars will be allowed except to walk dogs to the entrance gate of pool). Full body harnesses and dog life vests are allowed.

• All dogs must be off leash to enter the water.

• To minimize risk of guarding, we ask you to leave your dog’s toys at home.

• No human or dog food/treats in pool area.

• Anyone entering the pool area will be required to sign a release of liability form.

• Dogs 40 lbs. or less will swim from 9:00-10:00am. Dogs 41 lbs. and over will swim from 10:30-11:30am.
